I'm back from bangkok! It was very fun. I ate a lot of very nice food during the trip. But too bad, it was only 3 days. so short. Just some updates of wat I do during these 3 days:



day 2- 17/05/08
I wake up super early cuz i'm awakened by my sister's jumping. She is exercising in the room early in the monring. siao. We went to eat the breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast is so pathetic. gt so little variety and the food is not tt nice. I n my sister both concluded that we will be going outside to eat dinner even though dinner is free in the hotel. I believe the food outside is sure much more delicious. Then, we went mac as shopping centre didn't open so early.

After that, we went to big C market to shop for food. Then, here comes the shopping time. We chiong for shopping and even skipped our lunch for it. hahas. we brought back our zhan li ping to the hotel in the evening and headed to dinner. My sister want to eat the hokkien mee at the roadside and so we went there to eat. We ordered chicken rice, satay n hokkien mee. The hokkien mee taste weird cuz it is sweet and the soup oso taste a bit sweet. Then, in the end we concluded that thai ppl like to eat sweet things and so everything is quite sweet. Shopping time again after eating the dinner. We walk along the streets as there are a lot of roadside stalls. I bought another 2 bags on top of the two bags we bought at the platinum shopping centre. gt bags craving and tt y bought a lot. hahas. After walking 1/2 way, my mother is a bit tired and so she headed back to hotel while I n my sister continue shopping. hahas. We walked 1/2 way and then it started to rain. So unlucky. My sister n I have to run all the way back to hotel. We were totally drenched when we reached the hotel. so siAnz. Headed to the bath straight away and while waiting for the hair to dry, we went to pack our things in the luggage. I gt a hard time packing things. But as compared to last time, we definitely buy less things as we only managed to fill 1 bag that weighed abt 26kg. hahas

day 3- 18/05/08
We went to in search for A&W after our breakfast. Walked from the central world to the siam paragon as my sister said there gt A&W. But the shopping centre was not opened when we reached there. Thus, we approached the thai police man and asked him where is A&W and he told us it is at the corner in siam paragon. So, we walked in the direction he pointed. After walking around the shopping centre, we still couldn't find A&W and so we tried asking the security guard in the siam paragon. The person told us there is no A&W and so means that the police bluff us. so bad of him. hahas. We were determined to find A&W and so we juz anyhow walk in tt area and in the end we found A&W. So happy =). We ordered the curly fries, waffle n drink to eat there and bought some for take-away.

I watched alvin n the chipmucks while on the plane. The chipmucks are so cute. It is a nice movie. Home sweet home after we reached singapore.

I'm juz waiting for miracles to happen. Something tt is not really possible to happen and I knew it long ago. But, I'm juz hoping it. Having a small little hope everyday and getting more and more dispointed as the day goes by. I realise that from young, I have not really met up with any setbacks. Most of the things seem to be in the way tt i wanted. I manage to get to the sch i want, sort of getting the results i expected and the things that i hold dearly. Everything is juz going the way that i wanted. However, now it is not the case. It makes me lose my sense of direction in life and makes me feel discouraged at certain point of time. Why is it happening in this way? Everytime, ppl will tell you that we should perserve and overcome any obstacles that is hindering ur path in achieving what you want. But it is always easier to say than doing it. Maybe, i should go for a shopping spree and after that i will feel better. hahas

I'm starting to miss ppl. misses my candy, dada, xyz clinque
missing my jc life--> everytime when i saw my juniors in aj uni, I will start to miss the days we had in sch. The fun, the msging in lecture, oops* hahas, my co practice.
I'm also missing the days in maybank. The time when I n eileen gossip abt the people in the bank. hahas. Sometimes, we will come up nickname for ppl as we don't know the name. The time when I'm bio-ing my candy n her tang guo and the days we taking note of wat the guys are wearing. lols. Also, the time when we went golden mile to eat at 1pm. The food there is really delicious and there are wider variety compared to my pathetic workplace in bishan. Everyday, eileen n I will fan over what to eat cuz there are simply too many variety there. lols. Really misses these days. Now, it is not tt easy to find a workplace that is quite fun.

Oh ya. Today, I went to NALI for my marketing course. The course was quite interesting and useful. The trainer was very engaging. He has a good sense of humour and this makes our lesson an interesting ones. The food in NALI is also quite nice especially the cream puff and fish cake. hahas. Personally, I think that the team building course in NALI is quite fun. Actually, I saw a team building course in action while going to the canteen to have my lunch. It was like so fun and I saw a maze which I wanted to go play. But, in the end, I think the maze is only for those team building one and so cannot go play. argh. so sad.

Now, I'm still fan over my uni. RY gt her second letter for ddp and the letter says this letter supersedes the first letter ntu sent. so good for her. I juz hope that I will have such letter from ntu. But, I doubt so. Haiz. I really really really wanted to go ntu. Hope my appeal will be successful. *finger cross

I'm so sad cuz I failed to get into ntu acct or biz. It shattered all the hopes I have in ntu.
I received the letter saying i gt into ntu bioengineering which is my fourth choice today. I juz hope that it is a dream but how true it is. Many of them ask me to go appeal. But I doubt appeal will be that easy. Somemore, the appeal period is from 14 May to 7 June. Such a weird timing. At the same time, when I checked online, I think I gt into smu biz. It is so tai go. I thought I screwed up the whole interview and I'm not as outstanding as the others during the interview. I spoke bearly in the interview. Actually, I have no intention to get into smu. It is not my dream uni. Why is it I failed to get into my desire uni and I gt the uni which I not really have much interest in? Why? Shouldn't they switch and that will be perfect. I'm not saying that smu is not a gd sch. In fact, it is a relatively good sch and it stands out from the other uni as a very vocal sch. Some news have even reported that the salary for new graduate is the highest for smu. It is a school that is able to train u to survive in this competitive business world. But, I juz feel that their education is not suitable for me. It is too competitive studying in this sch and the fees are really expensive. That will be a huge burden for my parents who will be struggling to pay for both my bro n me the school fees if I gt to smu. Haiz. This letter really spoil my day. so sianz.
Furthermore, I think my redhill job sure don't have already. Another setback.
Lately, life has been so boring and routine. Everyday is just working and then after that is using com and watching tv. So montonous. I need some colours in my life. Date me out!. I'm free

juz finish reading my friend's blog. I totally agree with him that life is not just a bed of roses which everyone hopes to be. The perfect love, excellent job, fulfilling life and outstanding results....It is not possible to get the way u want it to be. We will just have to realise that and bear it in mind.

Life is always unpredictable and full of changes. That is the reason y it is so hard to get life goes the way u wished for. U might like the person but no matter how hard u tried, you might not be able to capture his attention and perhaps his heart. U might want to be as outstanding as the others. However, no matter how much effort u put into studying and praying to the god, u are not able to achieve it. U might want to secure a perfect job in your life but there are many obstacles in your path that obstructed your way of striving towards it. Sometimes hard work is not equal to good results. U might want to get the course you want in uni, but many factors and hinders are stopping you from securing ur dream course. Learn it and face it. These are just part and parcel of life.

now for my updates
I went out with my gossip group to celebrate my belated birthday yesterday. At first, we wanted to go pot culture for dinner. But there are just too many people. Sianz. Hahas. Both eileen n I agreed that the soup smell very nice. Next time, I shall come back and eat again with my gossip group. (ps: we still gt a lot of debts of outing haven clear. When we clearing leh?) hahas. In the end, after walking for so long to choose the nice restaurant to eat, we ended eating at changing appetite. I ordered a mushroom n chicken dish (cannot quite remember the name). It is nice especially the cheese. Then, we ate my birthday cake after eating the dinner. The cake is very chocolatey especially the biscuit part of the cake. If it is a cheese cake, it will be perfect. hahas.

2dae, I went to my new job place. Though the new place is not as comfy and shuang as my previous job in tanjong pagar, it was still okay and the fact that it is near to my home has added value to it. hahas. anyway, i did simple admin job and some calling 2dae. So, it was still quite okay. A pity that I don't have com at my desk to entertain me. By the way, I received the redhill data entry job 2dae and I told the person I can only start work 2 weeks later due to the job I currently doing. Haiz, it makes me unlikely that I can get this job cuz they in need of ppl badly. Should i tell them i can start work next week and reject the offer to continue till next week for my current job? But i don't know who is the one that call me regarding the data entry job. So fan arh

2dae is 4th of May. mY birthday. hahas
anyway, I went out yesterday to ajco concert. The concert was really quite impressive especially the encore song. It is not ling zhong ye hui but ju hua tai. How come my time nv play this song. lols. Suddenly when I went to the concert, I realise I gt so many juniors in erhu. There are abt 29 people in XYZ. So many la. Anyway, after that I went pool with ry, munyeng n lala. Then, due to some changes, ry they all nv proceed with their birthday trick on me. hAhas. Actually, they wanted go clark quey to bluff me to go for the bungy jump. Heng arh. lols.
So, we headed back to the mrt to catch the last train. Lala decided to sent munyeng home first in his father's car and so we alighted at bishan mrt. Then, after sending her home, we went to prata hse to have our supper. I tried a new prata- paper prata n bomb prata. It was quite nice n crispy. Yummy. I was so full when i finished my prata. So long nv eat supper already. After that, it is home sweet home already.
