bangkok fun fun fun

I'm back from bangkok! It was very fun. I ate a lot of very nice food during the trip. But too bad, it was only 3 days. so short. Just some updates of wat I do during these 3 days:

day 1- 16/05/08
Reached bangkok at around 11+ and we headed to the bangkok city inn hotel. The room was quite chiu. It is no wonder the accomodation is so cheap. Arnoma is still better. hahas.
We placed our luggage and then we went downstairs to eat supper. My father ordered eng cai, tom yam soup, egg omelette, sotong n beansprout. The tom yam is comparable to the one in Arnoma. The egg omelette is yummy cuz it is abit sweet. It is so different from what my mother cook in singapore. hahas. Really regretted that last dec we nv go here to eat. We ate a total of 400+ baht which is only abt 20 sing dollars for 5 dishes + drink. really very cheap. After eating, we went to 7-eleven and soon headed back to the hotel.
omg. I ate a lot tt day. I ate a total of 5 meals.

day 2- 17/05/08
I wake up super early cuz i'm awakened by my sister's jumping. She is exercising in the room early in the monring. siao. We went to eat the breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast is so pathetic. gt so little variety and the food is not tt nice. I n my sister both concluded that we will be going outside to eat dinner even though dinner is free in the hotel. I believe the food outside is sure much more delicious. Then, we went mac as shopping centre didn't open so early.

After that, we went to big C market to shop for food. Then, here comes the shopping time. We chiong for shopping and even skipped our lunch for it. hahas. we brought back our zhan li ping to the hotel in the evening and headed to dinner. My sister want to eat the hokkien mee at the roadside and so we went there to eat. We ordered chicken rice, satay n hokkien mee. The hokkien mee taste weird cuz it is sweet and the soup oso taste a bit sweet. Then, in the end we concluded that thai ppl like to eat sweet things and so everything is quite sweet. Shopping time again after eating the dinner. We walk along the streets as there are a lot of roadside stalls. I bought another 2 bags on top of the two bags we bought at the platinum shopping centre. gt bags craving and tt y bought a lot. hahas. After walking 1/2 way, my mother is a bit tired and so she headed back to hotel while I n my sister continue shopping. hahas. We walked 1/2 way and then it started to rain. So unlucky. My sister n I have to run all the way back to hotel. We were totally drenched when we reached the hotel. so siAnz. Headed to the bath straight away and while waiting for the hair to dry, we went to pack our things in the luggage. I gt a hard time packing things. But as compared to last time, we definitely buy less things as we only managed to fill 1 bag that weighed abt 26kg. hahas

day 3- 18/05/08
We went to in search for A&W after our breakfast. Walked from the central world to the siam paragon as my sister said there gt A&W. But the shopping centre was not opened when we reached there. Thus, we approached the thai police man and asked him where is A&W and he told us it is at the corner in siam paragon. So, we walked in the direction he pointed. After walking around the shopping centre, we still couldn't find A&W and so we tried asking the security guard in the siam paragon. The person told us there is no A&W and so means that the police bluff us. so bad of him. hahas. We were determined to find A&W and so we juz anyhow walk in tt area and in the end we found A&W. So happy =). We ordered the curly fries, waffle n drink to eat there and bought some for take-away.

Then, we walked back to our hotel to put the food back. Then, my sister and I went to walk around along the streets. We bought some tops and belts. Initially, I wanted to buy a belt that i happened to saw, but it starts raining and so we quickly ran back. So unlucky. Everytime, my mother nv walked with us, we will start to rain. My mother is our lucky charm. hahas. Soon, we checked out of the hotel and headed to thai airport with the take-away from A&W. At first, we thought of going there to eat our A&W but my father decided to go mango tree to eat. So i ordered a prawn roll. Really ate a lot these few days. It is no wonder I gained weight.

I watched alvin n the chipmucks while on the plane. The chipmucks are so cute. It is a nice movie. Home sweet home after we reached singapore.
